Watercolor backgrounds

I've been experimenting with some watercolor sprays and am having so much fun. This one isn't made into anything yet, but I like the look of it.
And, this themed card (Paris) I did for one my groups.
And, here are a few ATCs I've made using the watercolor backgrounds. This is just so much fun, I could play forever with my spray bottles. (Thanks Christiane)!!!!!

I had so much fun playing with some new clear stamps from Inkadinkadoo. The first one is stamped with Versafine ink and the second one is done with watercolor crayons. Thanks for stopping by!

H2Os and Watercolor Pencils

I stamped in black Versafine ink, clear embossed and painted with a combo of watercolor pencils and Twinkling H2Os. I've distressed the paper a little and stamped a crackle stamp using Vintage Photo Distress ink from Ranger. I LOVE those ink pads.
The background is done with copper and gold acrylic paint applied to white cardstock with a damp sea sponge. Then I added a small flourish from Quietfire Design stamped with Soot Black Distress ink.
The main image stamp is by Stampers Anonymous.

I got to stamp tonight.....

I can't believe I actually had the time and energy to stamp something tonight. LOL.
The flower is stamped and cut out and mounted with a foam dot to the flourish stamped background.
Nothing fancy, but I'm happy with it!

Gotta love Bella!

I really like the Bella images. This one I colored with my NOT Copic markers. LOL. Added some Stickles and the little tag (Coluzzle Tiny Tags).

Fast and fun!

Alcohol Inks on acetate

There was a Youtube demo using alcohol inks on printed acetate that I found to be very intriguing. LOL.
It was snowing like crazy outside and I had to manage with what I had here. So, I printed an image on my inkjet transparency sheet and then applied the alcohol inks to the image. This I layered to a polished stone background piece. Although there is no stamping involved with this one, I really like how it turned out. What do you think?

Green & Purple

One of the monthly ATC swaps I belong to is a color themed swap. March is green and purple.

I used the glue background technique for this and sponged on metallic purple and green inks. Once dry, I over stamped the birds and the text using Vivid plum dye ink.

Green Polka Dots!

This card was done for a color challenge. I stamped and embossed the flourishes on the patterned paper. And layered a vintage image. I've used silver mirror paper, which does not scan well, but in real life it looks awesome. (If I can toot my own horn. LOL).

Spring Challenge

Funny, how things just come together the first time, eh? One of the groups I belong to holds an ATC and card lottery each month. The theme for March was "Spring".
I used Distress Inks (Milled Lavender and Dusty Concord) for the background, stamped the Hero Arts flower with chalk inks and then overstamped the text using Versafine Olympic Green. And, voila.... all done! I absolutely love the font of the text. Don't you?
Thanks for stopping by to visit.
