Decorated Paint Can

I bought some Touch markers this week and of course I needed something to put them in. I picked up a 1 litre paint can from the local paint store and had SO much fun decorating it. I think I'll have to make some more!!!!!

Color Challenge

This month's color challenge on one of my groups was "Pastels". Too bad the scanner doesn't like the color "green". LOL
I love this little birdie! It's from Sunshine Designs and I must say they have some really nice stamps!

Birds Galore

The birdie from Inkadinkadoo's "Birds Galore" clear set has been stamped with black Versafine ink and embossed with black e/p. Butterscotch and Denim Adirondack inks were then applied using the Tim Holtz blending tool. To highlight certain areas, I've bleached out and then reapplied the Butterscotch ink again to those areas.
The quote is by Treasures from Paradise.

Background Tech

Rainbow inks have been brayered on to glossy c/s. This is then sprayed with Simple Green cleaner. (You can use any cleaner, though). Technique is from Technique Junkies.
The flowers have then been stamped with Ranger Archival black ink.

Friendship

The owl is from a clear set by Inkadinkadoo. "Friendship" is from MFT's Boho Blossoms clear set. Using Adirondack "Ginger", I stamped on this really lovely piece of double-sided paper that I received in a paper swap that I recently participated in. I'm so happy with the results. The colors really seem to tie together. What do you think?

Backgrounds done with Adirondack Inks (Stream, Cranberry and Butterscotch) stippled on to white cardstock. Images by Hero Arts are stamped with Versafine and embossed with black. Bleach was added to certain parts and then Butterscotch ink was applied to highlight.

Paper Towel Backgrounds

I made these backgrounds using paper towels, various dye inks, acrylic paints and LOTS of stamps. I've got backgrounds coming out of my ying-yang and decided to use them to make some torsos for a mingle I signed up for on one of my groups. I love the way they turned out. What do you think????

Boho Blossoms

I finally finished this card I started earlier in the week. I'm quite pleased with the way it turned out and I love this new clear stamp set (Boho Blossoms) by MFT. The border around the edge is from another new clear stamp set (Garden Flowers) by Inkadinkadoo.
The picture doesn't show the Stickles or the shimmer of the White Pearls embossing powder very well. In RL it's full of bling. LOL.
