Domino Necklace

I made this necklace today to give to my boss for her birthday this week.
The domino was first painted with Stonewash & Stream alcohol inks, then overstamped with Memories black ink. I added a coat of Diamond Glaze to seal everything. (Stamp is from Rubberstamp Avenue).
I sure hope she likes it! LOL.

Feathered Friends

Here's another ATC done for the mingle.
My sister sent me these stamps. Aren't they cute?
I stamped them with Brilliance Lightning Black ink and clear embossed. The words are stamped with Versafine Onyx black ink and I've added some clip art to which I applied Ranger's Crackle Medium. The paper is a piece of leftover scrap from a gorgeous Wild Asparagus sheet.

Watercolor Sprays

I love these newly acquired stamps that I recently bought from I Brake For Stamps.
The background was created with watercolor sprays. I embossed the image with clear e/p after stamping with black pigment. I've bleached out some of the design to highlight.

Birdies!

These are 2 ATCs that I've done for a mingle that I am participating in.
The green one is done from a scrap of background paper I had made using watercolor sprays. The stamps are from Inkadinkadoo and Magenta.
The second one is a new Magenta stamp. I stamped with Brilliance Lightning Black and clear embossed. I then colored the image with alcohol markers.

For Mom

My Mom is having cataract surgery next week and I made this card for her. I stamped the image with Adirondack Pitch Black dye ink and once completely dry, I colored the image with alcohol markers.

Spring Flowers

I'm not sure who the paper is by, but the stamps are by Inkadinkadoo and Hero Arts.
Adirondack dye ink was applied to white cardstock using Tim Holtz's blending tool. For those of you who don't already have this tool, I highly recommend it!

Sketch Challenge

This is the sketch challenge for Persnickety stampers this month.
All the stamps used are from one clear set of stamps by Inkadinkadoo. Thanks sis for sending them to me!!!! You are so sweet and I love them. Yes, I love you 2! LOL.
I find that the clear stamps sometimes don't take dye ink very well, so for this card I stamped with Chestnut Roan fluid chalk ink by Colorbox.

Bold & Bright

On one of the groups I belong to the color challenge for this month is bold and bright.
I think this card definitely qualifies! Not colors I would usually use, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out.

Stamp Storage

One of the girls at my stamp club came up with this awesome idea for storing unmounted stamps. Most of my stamps are catalogued and stored in either DVD or CD cases. However, none of Maryse Carrier stamps had been catalogued, so I decided to use this method for storing them. I bought 3 X 4 in. storage bags at the dollar store, some 2" binder rings from the office supply store, "S" hooks from the hardware store and the wire basket, which slides on to my shelf, was also a dollar store "find". Now, I won't be losing those teeny, tiny stamps which had a nasty habit of falling out the sides of the CD cases. And, it's SO easy to just take the binder ring off the hook and flip thru them. I managed to get 140 stamps into 40 storage bags and you can see that I have room for a lot more on the rack! I'm thinking my Bella collection needs adding too! LOL. MORE SHOPPING!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Recycle, Recycle, Recycle

My daughter wrapped my Mother's Day gifts in this awesome giftwrap and I just had to use it and the ribbon to make her a thank you card. I did add a few Stickles and gold Peel-Offs to finish it off.
Hope everyone, who celebrates, had a fabulous Mothers Day!

Another paint can

It didn't take me long to fill up my first can with my Touche markers, so I decided to make another. And I got to use a new set of stamps that I purchased last weekend when Nathalie from Magenta came to visit our stamp club.
The flourishes by Autumn Leaves, are stamped with chalk ink and I stamped the flowers from my new set with Adirondack Pesto dye ink. I then colored them with Prismacolor pencils.
