Absolutely no stamping on this card but it sure was fun to do. This is my first attempt at doing a 3D card. Thanks for stopping by!

I've been searching high and low for the perfect pencil case(s) to hold my pencil crayons. Not finding anything suitable I decided to make my own. And, it didn't cost me a penny! I had the doggie prints kicking around, as well as some remnants from making table runners. I added some small doggie charms and cord from my stash, and voila!!!!! Now I can take them "on the road" in something a little more stylish than a ziploc bag. And, the best part, they are sorted by color.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I am so anxious for spring to arrive. So, I thought I’d try to push things along a bit by giving my blog a facelift to welcome Spring.
Many thanks to my friend Kim for suggesting Windows Live Writer for writing my blog postings. It’s so much easier.
Please feel free to leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you think of the new “look”.
Thanks for stopping by and I wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
Hi everyone!
I'm sure some of you have wondered what happened to all my daily postings. I was doing so well there for awhile. LOL.
I've been in a bit of a funk this past week as last Friday I lost my full time job and now I don't know what to do with myself. It's so strange not getting up and going to work every day. I've pretty busy this week though getting stuff done (updating the resume, car servicing, registering with employment agencies, etc.). I even had a job interview this morning. I think it went extremely well. Now, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I should find out next Tuesday or Wednesday after they have finished the interview process.
So, now I'm going to try and become a better blogger and have stuff to share with you everyday!
Thanks for stopping by and wishing you all a wonderful day!

The background for this card was done with watercolor sprays on watercolor paper. The bird stamps are a new plate from I Brake for Stamps. I love this set!!!

For this one I used an Inkakinkadoo stamp with hearts. To make the stems, I inked up the stem portion of two different Hero Arts flower stamps and lined it up using a stamp positioner. The image was colored with alcohol markers and I added some Crystal Stickles to give it some sparkle. All the stamping was done with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Sorry for the crooked scan and the scanner likes to throw in a pink hue that is really not there. The heart was stamped with Versamark ink on black glossy cardstock and heat embossed with fine detail white embossing powder. This was mounted to a Cuttlebug background and then on to a white card. I added some black peel offs to finish it off.

I'm not sure who makes this stamp, but I love it! I stamped with black pigment ink and clear embossed. The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils. The diecut label is from Spellbinders and I've added some gold Peel-Offs to finish it off.

Over the holidays I made some background papers using watercolor sprays. I decided to make some inchies and I tell ya, these are SO much fun.
Stamps: Inkadinkadoo clear acrylic
Inks: Adirondack

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
I don't have any art to share you at the moment, but I do have some exciting news..... I'm going to be a "Nana" and I am so thrilled! This was the best Christmas present one could possibly hope for. (Thank you Jennifer and Dave)!
I am also enjoying a wonderful time with my sister, Susan who has come out from Vancouver to spend 10 days with us. I was a little concerned that she would be cursing the Montreal winter, however, with all the snow on the West Coast, I think she was happy to escape. It is a skating rink everywhere though and this makes walking a little difficult. This means that we have had to drive everywhere rather than walk. Oh well, you can't have it all, eh? We've managed to hit some good sales at a few scrapbooking stores and we are having a blast stamping together. And, to boot, she's a darn good cook too! LOL.
I'd like to wish all my cyber friends a Happy New Year and I hope 2009 will be a good year for everyone.
Also, to all my blog followers, thank you so much for all your wonderful comments and support. It really means a lot.
Tata for now,
Dianne
